ArmInfo. Lawmaker from the Yelk oppositionist block Artak Zeynalyan from the arena of the Parliament on April 17 demanded from the third President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan to refuse the Government country house, free of charge transferred to him by the government decision.
In response, the candidate for prime ministers, the third president of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, noted that we are talking only about one dacha house, and not the whole complex. "In this complex everything is equipped, the necessary infrastructure has been formed, and there is no need to invest additional funds in a new dacha," said Serzh Sargsyan, adding that the chairman of the National Assembly, the current head of the government resides in the holiday complex, and there are no problems associated with this fact.
To note, "government dachas", located in the center of Yerevan in the protected area of the Hrazdan Gorge, were built in Soviet times. The leaders of the republic usually lived there, but after the resignation they all moved from there. And only for Serzh Sargsyan was an exception. By the decision of the government, the dacha, where Sargsyan lived with his family during the presidency, was transferred to him free of charge.
