The protesters intend to block all the entrances to the National Assembly of Armenia and thereby impede the holding of the parliament session.
The Armenian police, in turn, decided to stop the rallies organized by Pashinyan. The police gave time to the opposition to inform the public about this decision. The statement also says that in the prescribed manner, the police have the right to use special means. The authors of the statement urge the organizers of the action not to impede the police from performing their legitimate duties. It should be noted that today the Armenian Prime Minister will be elected in the Armenian parliament. The only candidate for the premiere is the third president of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan.
