ArmInfo. A citizen of Armenia who has worked for some time in Russia will have the right to appoint and receive a Russian pension for the period of work in the territory of the Russian Federation, as well as pensions from Armenia for the Armenian experience. This was stated by Timur Zhaksylykov, Member of the Economic and Financial Policy (EEC) Economic and Financial Policy Committee (EEC), whose words are cited by the EEC press service.
Thus, the minister continued, the Armenian citizen will receive a full pension from the Armenian and Russian parts. Formation and realization of the pension rights of workers will occur under the same conditions and in the same manner as for citizens of the state of employment - an equal volume and the same procedure for payment of contributions to the pension system of the state of employment.
The worker will receive the right to retire at the same age as the citizen of the country of employment. For example, a citizen of Armenia, having a Russian work experience, will be able to claim a pension in accordance with Russian legislation in 55/60 years (women / men), but on an Armenian pension - only 63 years according to the Armenian legislation. Workers will be subject to the same requirements for the appointment of a pension, including the availability of the required length of service, for example, currently in Russia, 9 years of insurance experience is required to obtain the right to a pension (from 2024 to 15 years of seniority). To determine the right to a pension, it is provided for summing up the insurance record of the worker, formed in all member states.
"It is important that citizens conduct labor activities in the country of employment on a legal basis, since illegal employment does not make payments to the pension system and does not form pension rights," the EEC minister noted. He recalled that this year at the first meeting of the Eurasian intergovernmental council, which was held on February 2 in Almaty, the prime ministers of the countries of the Union stressed the high importance of the Treaty on the provision of pensions for the working people of the Union and the need for its signing in 2018. " After its signing, the pension rights acquired by them in the course of their work in the countries of the Union will be fully formed for the workers. "The entry into force of the Treaty on the provision of pensions for the working people of the Union will be the next stage in the development of Eurasian integration and will create conditions for the sustainable development of a single labor market within the Eurasian Economic Union," the EEC minister said.
