ArmInfo. Head of the Department of Meteorological Forecasts of the RA Hydrometeorological Center Gagik Surenyan spoke about the reason for the dust suspension that covered the sky of Armenia.
"A cloud of dust covered the sky over the republic, appeared because of the tropical warm air currents penetrating the country from the deserts of Iraq, these streams pose no danger," he wrote on his Facebook page Surenyan. According to him, in the afternoon, these air masses will recede and give way to a cyclone coming from the Black Sea, as a result of which this dust cloud will dissipate.
Note that, according to the same Surenyan's forecast, in the coming days, a record heat wave for March is expected, the air temperature in the republic will warm up to 33 degrees.
