ArmInfo. Within the framework of the events "Return of the stolen Vrubel" on March 16 with the support of Rostelecom Armenia, the National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet Spendiarian represents a musical performance "Lermontov-Rubinstein-Vrubel".
As the press service of the company informs, the performance includes excerpts from Lermontov's poem "Demon" and the opera of A. Rubinstein, accompanied by illustrations of Vrubel. The performance was embodied in the poem thanks to the use of three-dimensional (3D) animation solutions by Rostelecom Armenia, for which all the illustrations of the poem "Demon", exhibited in various museums, were selected and presented. There was also created a single full-fledged animated picture in addition to the literary and musical representation.
In the future, the canvases will be presented in the Museum of Russian Art. In addition, thanks to cooperation with the museum, new technological solutions for the museum were developed. In particular, through a mobile application, visitors to the museum will be able to see with an augmented reality (AR) how the angel comes to life in the world created by the artist in Vrubel's painting "The Demon and the Angel with the Soul of Tamara". During the exhibition, visitors will also be able to capture and preserve moving images.
"The return of the stolen cloth of Vrubel to Armenia became a significant event for all of us. We are pleased that the collection of the Yerevan Museum of Russian Art, our longtime partner, has become holistic, and this outstanding work of art has returned to the museum. As a technology company, it is very important for us to help to present the cultural values to a modern spectator and art lovers in a new way. Similar animation solutions are presented on the Armenian stage for the first time, they form new approaches, thanks to which, I am sure, the attractiveness will increase and the number of visits of cultural centers will increase. And I advise everyone who does not attend today to visit the museum and join art also through technology, "said Hayk Faramazian, General Director of Rostelecom Armenia.
According to the source, the project is dedicated to the Russian artist Mikhail Vrubel and the return of the lost relic "Demon and the Angel with the soul of Tamara" to Armenia.
