ArmInfo. The agreement between the Republic of Armenia and the EU is likely to be ratified by Armenia during the next four-day session in Parliament. This was stated by Armen Ashotyan, head of the permanent parliamentary commission on foreign relations.
Ashotyan noted that after Armenia ratified the Agreement with the EU it will come into force in parts. "In April we will address the issue of ratification of the Comprehensive and Expanded Partnership Agreement. The Constitutional Court recently concluded that the agreement with the EU does not contradict our Constitution. We will deal with this issue at the next meeting in Parliament, I can not precisely name the timeframe, but I assure you that in April the Agreement will be ratified," Ashotyan concluded.
The Agreement has already been ratified by Estonia, EU representatives promised that the document will be finally ratified by the end of this year.
