ArmInfo. On March 15, at the Armenian Embassy in Washington, President of the Republic of Artsakh Bako Sahakyan met with the leaders of Armenian community structures in America.
According to the press service of the head of the Artsakh state, issues related to the state construction in Artsakh, social and economic development, ties between the Motherland and the Diaspora, and the implementation of various programs in the republic were discussed during the meeting.
President Sahakyan expressed his gratitude to the audience, stressing that Artsakh always feels the involvement of the Armenian community of America in the life of the republic, with its direct participation, numerous programs are being implemented.
Bako Sahakyan also noted the important role of Armenian organizations of the United States in the international recognition of Artsakh, raising the country's recognition in the world.
The President awarded the chairman of the Armenian General Charitable Union Perch Sedrakyan with the Mesrop Mashtots order for his services to the Republic of Artsakh.
