ArmInfo. Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, who is on an official visit to Denmark, held a number of meetings.
During his meeting with representatives of the Danish foreign policy company, the Armenian Minister described the objectives of the visit to Copenhagen, the results of the meetings held, the main priorities of Armenia's foreign policy and challenges, as well as the reaction of the Armenian side. Nalbandian touched upon the Armenia-EU relations, the participation of the Republic of Armenia in various EU projects, as well as the opportunities provided by the agreement on a comprehensive and expanded partnership. He also presented Armenia's approaches to current regional and international issues. Nalbandian spoke about the efforts of Armenia and the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs on an exclusively peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
During the visit, Nalbandian also met with the Deputy Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs of the Government of Denmark, Michael Starbuck Christensen, with whom he discussed a wide range of issues on the development of the Armenian-Danish relations. The interlocutors touched upon activation of the political dialogue, stimulation of economic contacts. They exchanged views on Armenia-EU relations, regional and international challenges, including the Nagorno-Karabakh settlement.
The Armenian Foreign Minister also met with Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Export Credit Fund of Denmark Christian Frigastin. The sides discussed issues of strengthening cooperation in the trade and economic sphere, IT, in the field of alternative energy. Nalbandian spoke about the business environment created in Armenia, favorable conditions for investors, and the opportunities that the FEZ opens.
