ArmInfo.Armenia and the European Union have never been as close to each other as they are now. This is stated in the video message of the European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Vice-President of the European Commission Federica Mogherini to 220 young representatives from 24 countries who arrived in Yerevan to participate in the "European Planning Conference".
She positively assessed the fact of holding the event in Yerevan and stressed that last November in Brussels Armenia had signed three fundamental agreements with the EU. At the same time, Mogherini expressed hope that the signed documents will improve the lives of people both in Armenia and in the European Union. At the same time, the High Representative stated that other documents were also signed on the fields of the meeting, designed to improve communication between the EU and Armenia, both terrestrially and by air. "We asked representatives of civil society to provide us with both advice and proposals so that these agreements could be really successful," Mogherini concluded.
The EU-Armenia Framework Agreement was signed on November 24, 2017 in Brussels during the Eastern Partnership Summit.
