ArmInfo. Armenia temporarily suspends the effect of the decision on the dispensing of prescription drugs. The corresponding decision is included in the agenda of the meeting of the Armenian government, which will be held on March 6.
Earlier it was reported that from March 1, 2018 in Armenia, a new order for the dispensing of medicines takes effect. According to the certificate of support to the document, in order to avoid problems associated with the practice of dispensing prescription medicines without a prescription taking root among specialists in the field of public health and the public, the government decided to temporarily suspend the decree of May 9, 2017 "On the form of prescriptions, the procedure for issuing prescriptions, medicines, as well as on the treatment of medicines and medicines (including electronically), as well as decision N 1402-N on invalidating the decision of August 14, 2001 N 75 9 on establishing the order of accounting for drugs and medicines before October 1, 2018. With regard to injecting products, the decision will be suspended until July 1, 2018, with the exception of drugs and psychotropic drugs.
The decision does not apply also to drugs provided free of charge or on preferential terms and antiviral drugs (antibacterial, antifungal drugs, antimycobacterial agents, immune sera and immunoglobulins, vaccines).
