ArmInfo.Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan during the meeting with the Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Russia Sergei Naryshkin emphasized the importance of close cooperation between the special services of the two strategic allies. ArmInfo was informed about this in the press service of the Armenian leader.
At the same time, he stressed that in the modern rapidly changing world, both new opportunities and new challenges arise. And in both cases, according to the Armenian leader, there is a need for information exchange, assessment of the situation, constant active interaction between the special services, which in turn will help to respond more effectively and quickly to the challenges. Sargsyan noted with satisfaction that the Armenian-Russian allied relations are dynamically developing and are distinguished by active cooperation at a high level in all spheres - political, military, military-technical, humanitarian, as well as within international organizations and in foreign policy. At the same time, Sargsyan expressed hope that Naryshkin's visit will give a new impetus to cooperation with Armenian partners.
Naryshkin stated that the Armenian-Russian allied relations imply close ties and partnership relations at all levels, including at the level of special services. At the same time, he assured that the interaction of the structure headed by him with the National Security Service of Armenia is at the proper level. In this context, Naryshkin presented the current cooperation between the two power structures and forthcoming projects in separate areas.
