ArmInfo. Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan sent a telegram of condolences to the head of the Russian government Dmitry Medevedev in connection with the destruction of the Saratov Airlines air company in the Ramenskoye region of the Moscow region of the An-148 airplane.
According to the press service of the Armenian government, the telegram reads: "On behalf of the Armenian government and myself, I express my deepest condolences." I ask you to convey words of encouragement and patience to relatives and friends who died in the plane crash."
The plane of the Saratov Airlines crashed the day before in the Ramenskoye district of the Moscow region after leaving Domodedovo airport for Orsk, with 71 people, mostly residents of the Orenburg region, on board the operational headquarters at the site of the Interfax state owned aircraft An-148, presumably, collapsed from a collision with the earth, rather than in the air, as previously thought.
"The nature of the damage on the ground, the trail left by the plane in the field in the cone, indicate a possible strong impact of the aircraft on the ground. In turn, the nature of the defragmentation of the aircraft also indicates that the destruction occurred not in the air, but from a collision with the earth, "he said." He said that, apparently, the aircraft entered the ground with tanks full of fuel. "At the crash site, a strong smell of kerosene is felt, and the excessively small fragments left from the aircraft indicate the presence of a powerful destructive factor, possibly in the form of full fuel tanks, when the aircraft strikes the ground. Tanks, most probably, have detonated, "- he said.
