ArmInfo. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met with the co- chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group Igor Popov (Russia), Stefan Visconti (France) and Andrew Shoffer (USA) and Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk, who arrived in Yerevan as part of the regional visit.
As the presidential press service told ArmInfo, the co-chairs informed Sargsyan about the results of the meetings in Baku. The Armenian President drew the attention of the co-chairs to the latest statements from Baku, and noted that this is yet another indication of how far Azerbaijan is from being ready to settle the Karabakh conflict on the basis of the proposals of the co-chairs. According to the Armenian leader, this also demonstrates how Baku responds to the constant call of the mediators to prepare society for peace.
At the meeting, the sides stressed the importance of commitment to the obligations for an exclusively peaceful settlement of the conflict, as well as the need to implement the agreements reached at the summit in Vienna, St. Petersburg and Geneva. The mediators informed the Armenian President about the forthcoming work plans. Sargsyan reaffirmed Armenia's commitment, together with the mediators, to continue efforts aimed at a peaceful settlement of the conflict through negotiations.
