This is stated in the statement of the OSCE Minsk Group co- chairs, distributed following the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan Edward Nalbandian and Elmar Mammadyarov in Krakow.
The statement said that the meeting had an exchange of views on key sensitive issues contained in the working proposals, which are currently on the agenda. "The co-chairs urged the parties to take confidence-building measures as an important contribution to the negotiation process, and the co-chairs and ministers recognized the relative calmness at the line of contact." The co-chairs called on the ministers to express their interest in further discussions on the possibility of continuing the work of the 2010 Evaluation Mission year in the territories affected by the conflict, "- the statement issued by the mediators reads.
At the same time, the message says that the ministers and co-chairs discussed further steps to facilitate the implementation of the agreements reached at previous summits on the Karabakh settlement. "In principle, the ministers agreed with the revised conceptual document of the co-chairs on the expansion of the Office of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office with a view to its speedy end," the statement says.
