ArmInfo. Azerbaijan issued another appeal to France, demanding not to let representatives of Artsakh into the territory of the country through diplomatic passports of Armenia.
It should be noted that the reason for this statement was the next visit of the Artsakh delegation to France within the framework of the Days of Culture of Artsakh. In this connection, the spokesman for the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, Hikmet Hajiyev, stated: "Practice shows that the heads of French towns and villages are engaged in amateur activities, inviting Artsakh delegations to get support of the Armenian community in local elections. Armenian lobbying organizations, instead of contributing to the achievement of sustainable peace in the region and the settlement of the conflict through negotiations mediated by the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs, one of which is France, are engaged in deception and misappropriation of the funds of the representatives of the Armenian diaspora. "
It should be noted that in ten French cities, which have established friendly relations with the cities of Artsakh, held during the festival "Days of Artsakh in France". These days the festival was in the city of Le Pen- Mirabeau, the department of the Bouches-du-Rhone of France, where on January 8 the opening ceremony of the festival took place.
The program of the festival includes, in particular, the photo exhibition "Artsakh: the soul of the edge" of the famous French photographer Ivan Travey, the exhibition of graphic works by the artist Sylvain Savoy "Journey to Artsakh", screenings of the documentary "We Are Our Mountains" by French director of Armenian origin Arno Hayadzhanyan, and also a free lecture of the lawyer Gerard Ghergeryan on the theme "The right of nations to self-determination and legal aspects of the Artsakh conflict", during which the adviser of the State Minister of the Republic of Artsakh Artak Beglaryan.
