ArmInfo. Representatives of ICRC Baku office visited Armenians in Azerbaijani captivity.
As the head of communication programs of the ICRC delegation in Yerevan Zara Amatuni told ArmInfo correspondent, the visit to the persons took place on December 21 and 28. "During the visit, the conditions of their detention and treatment were monitored," Amatuni said.
At that, she added that during the December ICRC representatives also visited Azerbaijani who are in Armenian side.
At present, there are three Azerbaijani saboteurs in Nagorno-Karabakh, Dilgam Askerov and Shahbaz Guliyev, serving sentences in Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as Elnur Huseynzade, who was captured near the Karabakh village of Talish on February 1, 2017, on suspicion of attempting to sabotage and illegally crossing the state border of the NKR.
In Azerbaijan, two Armenians are detained - a prisoner of war, Arsen Baghdasaryan, convicted by the Baku court for 15 years of imprisonment and a shepherd Zaven Karapetyan, who was captured this summer.
