ArmInfo. On December 11, Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan received the Romanian Ambassador to Armenia Sorin Vasile in connection with the completion of his diplomatic mission in Armenia.
As the press service of the government reports, the prime minister expressed satisfaction with the work of the Romanian ambassador, stressing the importance of further development of the Armenian-Romanian relations, in particular, in the sphere of economy.
In the context of the diversification of economic relations, the head of government noted the importance of the work of the bilateral intergovernmental commission taking into account the opportunities for the entry of the countries of the EAEU and the IRI through Armenia.
The Ambassador of Romania, in turn, stressed that he leaves Armenia with the best memories, assuring that he will continue to contribute to strengthening the Armenian-Romanian relations. The diplomat expressed confidence that the framework agreement of Armenia with the EU will make it possible for the RA to become the best platform for the interaction of the EAEU countries and Europe. In addition, according to the ambassador, Armenian products, in particular, agricultural products with their quality characteristics are very promising in the Romanian market.
