ArmInfo. The festival , which started on November 21 in the city of Vilerban with a solemn event with the participation of President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan, continues. According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Artsakh, these days the festival is being held in the cities of Valence and Bourg-le-Valence of the department of Drome, where events are held, which represent the culture and way of life of Artsakh.
In early December, Valence hosted a screening of the documentary "We - our mountains> French director of Armenian origin Arno Hayadzhanyan. An exhibition of the French photographer Ivan Traver "Artsakh: the soul of the region" was also opened. Within 15 days, during which the exhibition will be held, visitors will also be shown an animated film by Gul Keshishian . It is noteworthy that the visit to the exhibition was included in the school program of the city of Valence, due to which the Valan schoolchildren have an opportunity to get acquainted with Artsakh.
The New Year's fair in the town of Bourg-le-Valence also featured the Artsakh pavilion, where brochures with information about Artsakh, tourist guides, and products produced in Artsakh were demonstrated. In her speech on the occasion of the opening of the fair, the Mayor of the city Marlene Murieu reaffirmed her support for Artsakh, stating, in particular, that "since the signing of the Declaration of Friendship with the City of Shoushi in 2014, Bour-le-Valence stands next to the people of Artsakh." A ten-day exhibition of graphic drawings by the famous French artist Sylvain Savoy, "Journey to Artsakh", was launched in the building of the Council of Drome Department.
