ArmInfo. Armenian Defense Minister Vigen Sargsyan confirmed the information on the removal of the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia, Lieutenant-General Aykaz Bagmanian from his post.
"According to my instructions, Haykaz Baghmanyan wrote a report on his resignation from his post," Sargsyan said in an interview with journalists at the event dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Marshal Baghramyan.
At the same time, he added that the reason for the resignation were errors in the course of his duties.
Previously, the media reported that the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia Aykaz Bagmanyan and Stepan Galstyan will be relieved of their posts.
To mention, according to media reports, Bagmanian owns several businesses, his name has also been exaggerated in various corruption scandals.
