At the same time Zakharova noted that the work with the parties is ongoing. "And we really want this issue to be resolved, the earlier, the better. And naturally on those foundations, of which we have repeatedly spoken," she concluded.
On November 19-21, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov paid an official visit to Yerevan and Baku. Lavrov's visit was devoted to the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations with Armenia and Azerbaijan. Within the framework of the visit, the sides also discussed the Nagorno-Karabakh settlement.
