ArmInfo.The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict has no military solution. This was announced by the NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at a joint press conference with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on November 23.
"The unresolved conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh causes concern, it is clear that there is no military solution to the conflict, and that NATO does not play a direct role here," Stoltenberg said, RIA Novosti reports.
He noted that the alliance supports the work of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs and is pleased with the resumption of talks between the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia. "We urge you to continue to follow the path of finding solutions through negotiations and avoid a new escalation," the alliance's Secretary General said.
