ArmInfo. On November 20 in Paris, the President of the Republic of Artsakh Bako Sahakyan took part in a solemn event organized on the occasion of the launch of the Artsakh Days in France. The event was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to France, representatives of the local Armenian community, public and political circles of France.
As the press service of the head of the Artsakh state reports, in his speech Bako Sahakyan noted that Days of Artsakh in Europe are held for the first time and therefore the responsibility and expectations are high. "We are sure that all the measures planned in the program will be held at the proper level, we are sure because we have patriotic compatriots and loyal friends who will help to successfully implement all the initiatives," the President of Artsakh said.
Bako Sahakyan expressed hope that the organization of Days of Artsakh in France will make an important contribution to the expansion of cooperation between Artsakh and France, representing the country and its French, and European public, its history, culture, economy and other spheres. At the same time, the head of state noted that the solid triunity of Armenia-Artsakh-Diaspora lies at the heart of all the achievements of the Artsakh people.
In the course of the event, President Sahakyan presented the "Gratitude" medal to the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia in France, Vigen Chitechyan, appreciating his long-term constant assistance to Artsakh and participation in the implementation of various programs in the country.
