ArmInfo.On November 20 in the Artists' Union of Armenia the opening of the personal exhibition of the honored artist of the RA Vladimir Abrahamyan was held, where more  than 50 paintings by the artist are presented. There was also a presentation of the illustrated edition of the artist called "Memories".

According to Abrahamyan, it is in this book that his creative life is  generalized, and it is dedicated to the memory of parents - Smbat  Abrahamyan, who was repressed in 1949 (justified in 1991) and mother  - Siranuysh Abrahamyan, who brought up six children. The title of the  book was chosen not by chance and is symbolic, since "Memories"  symbolizes the path that the artist has passed - from the student's  desk and the artistic and theatrical institute to this day.

Since 1972 Vladimir Abrahamyan participates in republican, all-Union  and international exhibitions. In 2005, the first personal exhibition  of the artist was opened in the Chinese city of Nanchang, and in 2011  in Yerevan - the second personal exhibition of the artist. Many works  of Vladimir Abrahamyan are in different museums in Armenia, in  personal collections (in the USA, France, Lebanon, the UAE, Poland,  Germany, China, Russia). Vladimir Abrahamyan is the author of more  than 250 books.

Since 1975, Vladimir Abrahamyan is a member of the Union of Artists  of Armenia. In 2013 he was awarded the title of Honored Artist of  Armenia.
