ArmInfo. The acting Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan has already missed the historic chance of making a change as a result of the transition from semi-presidential to parliamentary in the system of government in Armenia, believes MP of the parliamentary group Tsarukyan Mikael Melkumyan.
"Karapetyan did not manage to influence the economic model in the country, the question is whether there is a liberal market or market relations in the country, they are still not there," the parliamentarian "168 Jamas" said.
The MP is convinced that the "Tsarukyan" block does not raise the question of changing the prime minister's person, but he records the fact of the lack of implementation of the promised changes. The biggest problem of Karapetian Melkumyan considers the loss of popular confidence, a certain rating, disappeared in a very short time.
In Armenia, in April 2018, with the end of presidential term of office of Serzh Sargsyan, the final transition to a parliamentary form of government is planned, in which the prime minister will be the main character.
