ArmInfo.The Armenian Police understands the next report about the shooting of white-headed sipov, listed in the Red Book.

As the press secretary of the Police of Armenia, Edgar Janoyan, wrote  on his Facebook page, "Econews.am" in the evening of October 20  issued another information regarding the shooting of Red- booked  White-headed griffon . A photo was attached to the files, which  depicts a citizen with a "trophy" griffon  in his hand. The photo was  uploaded to social networks in 2014. As the location was noted the  community of Bahchalar now Bagaran. Thanks to operational and  investigative measures, the police managed to find out the identity  of the hunter, he was a resident of the Armavir region Armen Sh. Born  in 1967. 

He was invited to the local police department, where he wrote an  explanatory note on this fact. Armen Sh.  Reported that he hunted for  sip in 2012 on the fields of the community of Bagaran from a  registered hunting rifle. Article 294  of the RA Criminal Code provides for a fine and imprisonment.  According to clauses 1 and 2 of part 2 of the above article, illegal  hunting committed with the use of official position or in conspiracy  by a group of persons provides for punishment in the form of a fine  in the amount of 500 to 700 thousand drams or imprisonment for up to  4 years.
