ArmInfo. Political consultations took place between the foreign political departments of Armenia and Georgia.
As the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry told ArmInfo, the consultations took place on October 18 in Yerevan. From the Armenian side, the consultations were headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan, with the Georgian side - Deputy Foreign Minister David Dondua.
The parties discussed a wide range of issues on the bilateral agenda, including the implementation of agreements reached at the level of heads of state, regional security, humanitarian, economic and other issues. The interlocutors touched upon the prospects of deepening and expanding the Armenian-Georgian cooperation, and the role of foreign affairs agencies in the context of implementing concrete steps.
An inventory of the regulatory and legal framework existing between the two countries was conducted, the importance of improving the regulatory framework and carrying out work on its expansion in separate areas was underlined. It was agreed to hold the next meeting in Tbilisi in 2018.
