ArmInfo. Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said that he will meet with his Armenian counterpart Edward Nalbandian in the near future to discuss the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, but the venue has not yet been determined.
"In the near future a meeting of the foreign ministers is planned, but it is not known yet in which city," the diplomat said at a joint press conference with his Polish colleague Vitold Vachikovski.
At the same time, he expressed confidence that negotiations on the settlement of the Karabakh conflict must be conducted "intensively and substantively". "We spoke about this with the OSCE Minsk Group co- chairs, they have a number of proposals, the main goal of the meeting is to conduct concrete discussions," he added. Mammadyarov also considers "incorrect" the statements made by Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan following their meeting with the Azerbaijani President in Geneva on October 16.
"The presidents at the meeting discussed the issue of the conflict settlement for a long time," the head of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry stressed.
