ArmInfo.Multifunctional centers for rendering social services will appear in the enlarged communities of Armenia.
As Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan noted at the government's meeting on October 12, the creation of such centers will improve the quality of social services rendered to the population. In this direction 19 centers are already involved. In the future, these centers will be transferred to local governments, and there is a need to transform these centers into multifunctional centers for the provision of social services.
In this regard, noting the importance of the policy of the "one-stop-shop" in the social sphere, Karen Karapetyan instructed the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, the Minister of Territorial Administration and Development and the Head of the Department for State Property Management to develop and submit proposals to the Government in the regions of single centers for the provision of social services. In addition, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs undertakes to submit monthly to the government staff information on the process of the formation of the centers and their results.
The prime minister recalled that at present there is a program according to which it is planned to create centers for providing high-quality social services to the population. In order to implement the program, the necessary financial resources are planned for the construction of buildings and structures. In the enlarged communities there are areas that can be used for multifunctional centers, which will save considerable financial resources. In this center, a "single window" site will be created in which the public can receive the proper social service. As a result, as a result of optimizing financial resources, the premier continued, it will be possible to equip the centers with necessary equipment.
