ArmInfo. Rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia participate in NATO's international field trainings, held in Bosnia and Herzegovina from September 24-30.
The trainings under the heading "Bosnia and Herzegovina 2017" were organized by the Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Center (EADRCC).
According to Armenian Emergency Situations Ministry press service, this year, in the 18th International Field Exercises for the Elimination of the Consequences of Natural Disasters, 30 countries participate. The delegation from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia includes 22 rescuers representing the Department for Protection of Population and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters, rescue services, the Center for Medical Assistance in Natural Disasters, the Special Rescue Team of Water Rescuers and the Regional Rescue Department of the Shirak district.
NATO's Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Center (EADRCC) annually conducts similar events. In 2010, these trainings were held in Armenia. 20 countries participated in the trainings.
