On the eve of the 22 rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia, they left for Bosnia and Herzegovina, where they will take part in the NATO exercise "Bosnia and Herzegovina 2017", organized by the Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Center (EADRCC). According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia, 30 countries participate in the 18th international field exercise of the Euro-Atlantic Coordination Center for Responding to Natural Disasters and Catastrophes.
The Armenian delegation included representatives of the rescue services, as well as the protection of the population and the organization of work to eliminate the consequences of the catastrophes of the Rescue Service, water rescuers of Gegharkunik region, firemen from Shirak, as well as employees of the Center for Disaster Medicine. According to the plan of the exercises, actions will be worked out in floods, landslides and earthquakes.
According to the exercise scenario, actions will be worked out in floods, landslides and earthquakes. International exercises are aimed at sharing experiences. In 2010, EADRCC exercises were held in Armenia with the participation of representatives of 20 countries.
