ArmInfo. Despite the fact that the International Polyling Youth Camp "School of Rosatom" has been functioning since 2011, the children from Armenia for the first time took part in this project.
The first experience for Armenian children proved to be quite successful and they are eagerly awaiting new similar projects. So, 21 members of the Armenian team, during a meeting with the head of the Russian Center for Science and Culture (Rossotrudnichestvo) in Yerevan, Sergei Rybinsky, were interested in whether such projects will be implemented in the future and whether they can again take part in the projects of the Rossatom School.
Rybinsky assured that for his part he will do everything possible to ensure Armenia's participation in the programs was long: "We will keep our fingers on the pulse and, if possible, promote Armenia," the head of the RCSC assured. The children shared with Rybinsk their impressions of the trip to the All-Russian Children's Center "Ocean", located near Vladivostok, on the picturesque shore of the bay of Emar, where this year the International Polylingal Children's Camp "School of Rosatom" was held under the motto "Young diplomat". According to the stories of the children, this visit was given to them by a sea of emotions, they first saw the ocean and even bathed in it, visited the most adventurous oceanarium, talked with children from other countries, found new friends with whom they continue to communicate through social networks.
Project participant David Manukyan said that the way to the "Ocean" was long and exhausting, since they traveled more than 16 hours to their destination. <But, you know, this way was worth it. We had very busy and interesting days. <School of Rosatom> gave us the opportunity to communicate with children from Vietnam, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Belarus. In Armenia, we did not have such an opportunity. With other participants of the project, we mainly communicated either in Russian or in English, and sometimes we were rescued by sign language. We taught our new friends even Armenian. But the most important thing that this trip has given me is this friendship, the unity of all peoples. I would like to take part in similar projects in the future. "Another participant of the camp Alla Aslanyan with a glint in her eyes said that every morning in the "Ocean" began with dances and songs. "We always wanted to sing. We learned a lot during the days of our stay in the camp, there were a lot of different activities, circles and contests, but they did not burden us at all, but instead we rallied around common interests. So we found new friends, and maybe even closer ones than we had before in Armenia. I would very much like to take part in the camp "Rosatom School" in the future. The children also told that, despite the tension in the Armenian-Turkish relations, they became friends with the children from Turkey who also took part in the project. The children are convinced that friendship between the nations is important and expressed hope that in the future Armenia and Turkey will still manage to normalize relations. Most of the children were admired by the Vietnamese delegation, all of them unanimously said that they now have friends in Vietnam and they are looking forward to new meetings with them. "It was very difficult for us to leave, now it's easy to talk, but when we left we cried," the children tell and show photos from the trip, where emotions are alive.
In turn, the head of the Armenian delegation from CJSC "Armenian Nuclear Power Plant" (YPP) Elena Hakobyan noted that Armenian children perfectly speak both Armenian and Russian languages, that's why they had absolutely no problems in the camp in the camp. "You understand, in order to get into the Ocean, you have to earn it. You, at least, should be talented. Naturally the selection in our team was tough, we held a competition, according to which 11 children of Rosatom employees were able to take part in the camp of the Rosatom School, another 10 people of our team are the children of compatriots. This camp is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate that Armenia and Russia have excellent relations. We are friends and we want to maintain our strong friendship in the future. The only thing I wanted to say is that we, the Armenian side, took part in this event for the first time, although the school has existed for several years. We would very much like to take part in the projects of the "Rosatom School" in the future, "Hakobyan said.Note that the ninth International polylingale children's camp "School Rosatom" was held from July 18 to August 7. 126 children from 8 countries took part in the change, including 21 children from Armenia. The project "The School of Rosatom" is being implemented since 2011 on the initiative of the State Atomic Energy Corporation "Rosatom".
