ArmInfo.The suspect in the murder of a military serviceman of the Armenian Armed Forces Vardan Grigoryan (born in 1985), a 37-year-old resident of the village of Nerkin Karmiryahbyr, was arrested. As the press service of the Armenian Investigative Committee told ArmInfo, based on the evidence received, a 37-year-old man was charged on the grounds of Article 104 part 1 of the RA Criminal Code, arrest was chosen as a preventive measure.

According to the ministry, the investigation found that a 37-year-old man, in a state of intoxication, during the ensuing dispute with the 32-year-old Grigoryan, inflicted a lot of blows to the head in the latter. Grigorian, who lost consciousness, put the suspect in the car and, trying to simulate a traffic accident, rolled  the car into a ravine and arson. 

As previously reported by the RA SC, on August 17 at 15:10 local time  the department received a message that a completely burnt out car was  found near the village of Nerkin Karmiryahbury. The investigative-  operative group arrived at the place, when examining the place of the  incident, found a body burned to the ground in a VAZ-2106 car. It was  possible to establish the identity of the deceased - he was a  resident of the village Nerkin Karmiryahbury, a serviceman of the  contract service in 1985 .. In connection with the incident, a  criminal case was opened on the grounds of Article 104 part 1 of the  RA Criminal Code. Thanks to the immediate measures taken, the motives  for the murder, the identity of the alleged killer, who is also a  resident of Nerkin Karmiryahbury of the Tavush region of Armenia,  were revealed.
