ArmInfo. Issues of intensification of economic cooperation were discussed by Minister of Regional Cooperation of Israel Tsachi Anegbi who is on an official visit in Yerevan and Karen Karapetyan, the Prime Minister of Republic of Armenia.
In the context of intensification of economic cooperation, the sides considered positive the opening of direct air communication between Yerevan and Tel Aviv.
In particular, Anegbi stated that the purpose of his visit was to identify those main directions in the sphere of tourism, agriculture, high technologies and trade, on which the parties could develop mutually beneficial cooperation. He stressed that there is a great potential between the countries for development of cooperation, and the governments of the two states should work towards its implementation.
In his turn, Prime Minister of Armenia stressed that the above-mentioned areas may be of interest to Israeli investors. He noted that the reforms carried out in the country are aimed at intensifying the investment climate. According to Karapetyan, Armenia for foreign investors is an attractive platform not only in the prism of bilateral cooperation, but also in the prospect of entering the third markets.
