ArmInfo.The venue of the Aliyev-Sargsyan meeting has not yet been determined. This was announced on July 20 at the briefing by Artem Kozhin, Deputy Director of the Press Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry.  

According to him, the information that was previously published in the newspaper  Izvestia that the next meeting of the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan Serzh Sargsyan and Ilham Aliyev will be held in Moscow is untrue. <We paid attention to the article in <Izvestia>. We would like to note the actual inaccuracies made in the publication. At the consultations of the troika of the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group there was a proposal to organize a meeting of the presidents before  the end of this year. However, the venue was not discussed in detail>, - he concluded.

Earlier, Izvestia, referring to a high-ranking official of the  Russian Foreign Ministry, published a material, which reads: "We are  trying to seize the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan today at the  negotiating table. The French tried, but it did not do any good.  Moscow seeks to organize a meeting of the Presidents of Armenia and  Azerbaijan before the end of the year, becoming the main mediator  against the background of unsuccessful attempts. 

 It should be noted that on July 11 the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs  issued a joint statement following the meeting with the Armenian and  Azeri FMs, in which they noted that an agreement has been reached to  hold the next meeting of the foreign ministers of the two countries  in New York in September in the fields of the UN General Assembly. It  was also noted that efforts are being made to organize a summit at  the end of this year. In this connection, Armenian President Serzh  Sargsyan noted that such a meeting could be held in September this  year. At the same time, he added that Yerevan does not have special  expectations from such a meeting.
