ArmInfo. Armenian National Assembly chairman Ara Babloyan met the head of Kazakhstan Republic Mejlis Nurlan Nigmatulin during the session of the heads of Eurasian heads of the speakers of the parliaments of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Cooperation in Seoul.
Armenian NA Chairman highly estimated different aspects of balanced development of Armenian-Kazakh relations. Armenian NA chairman stressed high level of political dialogue between Armenia and Kazakhstan, as well as the importance of mutual visits for the development of two sided relations.
Armenian Parliament chairman congratulated Kazakhstan on the post of the non-permanent member of the UN Security Council and expressed hope that both sides will continue constructive cooperation with UN, as well as with international and regional organizations. Referring to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, babloyan stressed that Armenia expects balanced and moderate approach from Kazakhstan on this issue, relevant to the approaches of OSCE MG.
Armenian Speaker invited his Kazakh colleague to Armenia and received responsive invitation from Kazakh colleague.
In his turn, Kazakhstan Mejlis chairman Nurlan Nigmatulin stressed that parliamentary cooperation between the two countries are at high level. Nurlan Nigmatulin stressed that there is a need to strengthen further cooperation in cultural, economic and educational fields, and there are all prerequisites for that. The head of Mejlis said that as a result of the recent constitutional changes in both countries, there was a certain similarity in the sphere of management.
