ArmInfo.The Commission on Foreign Affairs of the National Assembly of Armenia creates an  Analytical Board, which will include the most prominent experts of the country.

Particularly, the invitation to take part in the work of the Council  received the Director of the Center for Strategic Initiatives Richard  Giragosian, Head of Globalization and Regional Cooperation Center   Stepan Grigoryan, head of the Caucasus Institute Alexander  Iskandaryan, Director of Noravank the SEF  Gagik Harutyunyan, the  former defense minister Vagharshak Harutyunyan, the head of the  Armenian branch CIS Institute Alexander Markarov, expert of  Johnny  Melikyan, Ruben Melkonyan, former Minister of  Ministry of national Security David Shahnazaryan, the head of the  Armenian center for national and strategic studies, coordinator of  Eurasian expert club Aram Safaryan, director of the Institute of  Oriental Studies Ruben Safrastyan, the ex-Speaker Tigran Torosyan,  director of the Institute for National Strategic Studies at  Armenia  Defense Ministry Ayk Kotandzhyan, his deputy, Vahram Ter-Matevosyan,  head of the Armenian Institute of International Affairs and Security  Stepan Safaryan, Vardan Voskanyan Iranist Angela Elibegova, araboved  Sargis Grigoryan, the former MP Tevan Poghosyan, head of the Center  for European studies Erevans th State University Arthur Ghazinyan.

Previously, all the experts agreed on participation to the works of  the Board. Today the first session will take place. 

A suggestion came from the members of the Commission on foreign  issues to involve also genocide expert in this list, the head of Euro  Integration organization Karen Beqaryan proposed the nomination of  one of his experts, the representative of the Tsarukyan block Ararat  Zurabyan proposed to stop the choice on the ex- head of the  commission on external affairs of the National Assembly of Armenia  Hovhannes Igityan, there were also proposals to include all the heads  of the parliamentary commissions in the Council. All proposals were  accepted.

As the head of the Committee on foreign issues Armen Ashotyan noted,  some international organizations have already interested in the work  of the Board, who even stated on readiness to provide certain funding  in case of total functioning of the structure. However, what concrete  functions this Board will do and what mechanisms will run the work of  it is not clear yet.
