ArmInfo.Connecting our integration projects with third parties expands the opportunities of EEU countries. Such an opinion was stated to ArmInfo by Timur Urazaev, the Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary of Kazakhstan to Armenia
" Especially under the condition of ban policies of West in respect to Russia. This is quite obvious. After all, if there will be no European Union, there will be an Asian dimension. This is an obvious option for the nearest future. That is why any joint ventures with European partners at the territory of Kazakhstan are not obstacles for Kazakhstan membership to EEU. In my opinion, this should give a pulse to dynamics inside EEU," he mentioned.
In this respect the Ambassador reminded about the cooperation of Kazakhstan not only with EEU, but also with third countries: Asia and , upon necessity, with countries of North and South America. According to diplomat's estimates, any integration restricted exclusively by itself usually leads to new stagnation, as it usually happens inside of any given country. And, in general, any integration is aimed just and only at the improvement of internal quality and tools, without isolating any country from other world.
According to Urazaev, it is difficult to talk about unused potential in Armenian-Kazakhstan relations, under the conditions of absence of clear logistic segment in the field of bilateral trade. And it is very hard to calculate the segment mentioned under the conditions of Armenian border closed throughout all the eastern sector. And in general, the unused potential in the sector of economy is the investment projects at the territory of Armenia.
" At least, the matter concerns the services sector and IT, which do not depend on logistics at all. They could be developed easily. But the problem here also is the opportunities of Kazakhstan business, which have essentially decreased after the crisis. But the interest in the sector mentioned exists in Kazakhstan for sure, which inspires a certain hope," Urazaev summarized.
