ArmInfo. Artsvik Minasyan, Armenian Nature Protection Minister, ARFD member, thinks his work as a Minister is more productive for Armenian than if he had lawmaker mandate, he stated during the conversation with journalists on April 24.
According to him, nature protection sphere can become basic stone of stable development of any country, particularly of Armenia. "Ecology can become the basis for any economy development. And if we will build economic policy of Armenia based in natural resources and renewable energy sector, we will go to steady development of the country", he stated.
Despite ARFD entered 7% barrier and Artsvik Minasyan has prospective to become future Parliament member, he sees himself in the Cabinet of the Ministers. "There is such a nostalgia towards the work of the Parliament, but I'd prefer Nature Protection Minister's seat, s I find my work as a Minister more productive for the country and its steady development", Artsvik Minasyan stressed.
To note, according to the data of the Central Election Commission, the ORO bloc gained 2.7% of the vote. According to the submitted data, 1,577,323 voters from 2,588,590 eligible voters participated in the elections. 6701 ballots were declared invalid. The alignment of forces turned out to be as follows: RPA - 771.247 votes or 49.12%, Tsarukyan - 428.965 or 27.32%, "Elk" bloc - 122.049 or 7.77%, ARF - 103.173 or 6.57%. "Armenian revival" - 58.277 or 3.71%, ORO - 32.504 or 2.07%, "Congress-PPA" - 25.975 or 1.65%, "Free Democrats" - 14.746 or 0.9%, the Communist Party - 11.745 or 0.75%.
