ArmInfo. Raffi Hovhannisyan, Heritage party leader and lawmaker  candidate of Ohanyan-Raffi-Oskanian bloc does not agree with Zaruhi  Postanjyan's statement that his party came off its principles.

He noted that he had asked Zaruhi Postanjyan and Anahit Bakhshyan not  to leave the party. However, they made their choice. "The country  needs patriots like Zaruhi and Anahit. I wish them all the best, but  they are not right that the party abandoned its principles, as we  promote human rights as previously, national interests, total  acceptance of Artsakh and Armenian immunity," the political expert  pointed out.  .At that, Hovhannisyan thinks that there are always  generation shifts in the parties. In this context he noted that he is  only 11th in the ORO proportional list. However, the political expert  confesses that he wished to take 21st place.

To note, the disagreements in Heritage party started in 2012, when  the Party made a decision to participate to the parliamentary  elections with a joint list together with Free Democrats. Afterwards  a fraction was formed in Parliament, where the only representative of  Heritage was Zaruhi Postanjyan. The disagreements reached their peak  in 2017. In particular,Postanjyan thought that the Party should not  participate the elections as a part of any bloc, however,  Hovhannisyan and Armen Martirosyan, the Deputy Chairman of the  Party,decided to collaborate with ORO bloc. After that, the Heritage  fraction member in Yerevan Council of Elders Anahit Bakhshyan and the  ex secretary of the Party Stepan Safaryan stated about the  participation in the elections based on  proportional list of the  Free Democrats Party. Postanjyan also stated that the Party does not  have to follow its principles and has left the Party. A few days ago  she stated about formation of a new party –Country of Apricots.
