ArmInfo. During the election campaign events of the Republican Party of Armenia, an incident has recently occurred in Sunik province between Syunik governor Vahe  Hakobyan and Armenian Public Television cameraman Edgar Davtyan.

According to ArmInfo's sources participating in the campaign, the  incident was caused by the fact that Davtyan accidentally touched  Governor Hakobyan with his shoulder. The latter expressed his  indignation in a raised voice in the presence of the media  representatives and the voters, but those present were able to "calm  down" the nervous governor. However, Hakobyan nursed a grievance  against Davtyan. A few hour later, during the dinner of the media  representatives at one of the public catering facilities in Syunik,  Hakobyan's "supporters" called Davtyan out, told him to get into a  car and took him to the governor. The latter gave him several slaps  "for educational influence".

ArmInfo has failed to get any comments from the Syunik governor,  because the governor dodges phone calls. The agency's attempts to  contact Harutyun Harutyunyan, the head of public and political  programs at Armenian Public TV, were also to no avail, because  Harutyunyan's telephone was out of range.
