ArmInfo.RF President Vladimir Putin hopes that first elections after the constitutional reform will be implemented successfully in Armenia. Opening the negotiations withPresident of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, who is at his visit to Moscow, President Putin mentioned that the meeting is held at the times of preparations to parliamentary elections In Armenia. " All this is related also to the Constitutional reform. The process looks to be difficult, but I am sure that Armenia under Your governance will pass this path. We wish you the best success," Russian President said.
From Russian side the meeting was participated by Sergey Lavrov, the Foreign Minister, Yuri Ushakov, the Assistant to the President, and Maxim Sokolov, the Minister of Transport. From Armenian side the meeting was attended by Vache Gabrielyan, the Minister of International Integration and Reforms, Defense Minister Vigen Sargsyan, Foreign Affairs Minister Edward Nalbandyan, Assistant to the President and Vardan Toghanyan, Armenian Ambassador to Russia. To mention, the meeting with Russian prime Minister Dmitri Mevedev was cancelled due to his heakth conditions reasons.
