ArmInfo. France is a supporter of peaceful regulation of Naghorno-Karabakh conflict through peace talks, French Ambassador to Armenia Jan-Francois Charpentier stated during the press-conference in Yerevan on March 14.
"We stand for implementation of every measure aimed at reduction of tense in the conflict zone and decreasing violence. France has expressed its positions on this issue not once," the Diplomat said answering the question what exactly was being discussed during the meeting with the head of the ANC- NPA bloc headquarter Levon Zurabyan.
According to him this is pretty natural, that Karabakh settlement also was referred to in the list of other affairs, as it is related to Armenia directly. "I met not only Zurabyan, but also representatives of other political forces of Armenia and it is very logical in relation with those processes flowing in Armenia. We discussed wide specter of questions, including Karabakh issue," Diplomat concluded.
To remind, the Head of ANC-NPA bloc headquarter ( Armenian National Congress and National Party of Armenia) Levon Zurabyan met the Ambassador of France to Armenia Jan-Francois Charpentier. During the meeting the sides discussed wide range of issues related to electoral processes, covered Armenian- France relations, French investigative opportunities, as well as perspectives of Naghorno-Karabakh conflict regulation.
