When commenting on the media reports that the RPA members distribute electoral bribes, Sharmazanov said, "Our team takes a negative view of all unlawful actions, including electoral bribery. We have a clear goal to conduct the electoral campaign within the boundaries of the law. Journalists can write a lot about bribery, but I have not yet heard any complaints from the citizens," he said, noting that the information about electoral bribery 2 months prior to the elections is sensation.
To note, Sofia Stepanyan, a candidate from Yelk bloc, said that the representatives of the Republican Party of Armenia, Tsarukyan bloc and Armenian Revival Party are distributing bribes in Gyumri. In addition, according to the reports in the social networks and in the press, RPA representatives knock at the voters' doors and draft the lists of possible voters, sometimes offering them bribes starting from AMD 10,000.
