ArmInfo. The relatives of those detained under the criminal case over the clashes in Sari Tagh district in Yerevan on 19 July 2016 have sent letters to the ambassadors of the US, Russia and France to Armenia.
In the letters the detainees' relative state that detainees Harutyun Torosyan, Hrayr Isakhanyan, Andranik Keseyan and Eduard Zeytunyan only demanded resuming the electricity and water supply and unblocking the roads, which were blocked following the Sasna Tsrer group's actions. The relatives demand that the ambassadors should control the process of fair investigation and release of their detained relatives. They also state that the judges deliver self-willed verdicts.
To note, on July 19, 2016, the specified residents of Sari Tagh used harmful violence against a number of policemen. They are charged under Article 316.2 of the Armenian Criminal Code. All of them are in custody.
