ArmInfo. The OSCE is concerned over the ongoing processes in Nagorno-Karabakh, OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier says in an interview with TASS, when commenting on the situation in the NKR and the prospects of the Azeri and Armenian Presidents' meeting on Karabakh.
Lamberto Zannier recalls that the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs met with the Azeri and Armenian foreign ministers on the margins of the Munich Security Conference. He notes that the discussion was positive but there is no significant progress. He notes that the OSCE is willing to launch all the mechanisms the sides have agreed upon. As soon as the relevant conditions are created, the OSCE will willingly launch investigative mechanisms, but the OSCE cannot replace the sides in decision making, Zannier says, adding that the progress is unfortunately limited and that he sees no understanding on the possibility, dates or agenda of the meeting of the two countries' leaders. At the same time, he points out the deterioration of the situation, stressing the use of heavy weapons and the casualties among civilians.
