ArmInfo.The Issues of cooperation in Armenian-Bulgarian relations and cooperation between the two states in international organizations were discussed in Yerevan by the vice-speaker of the Armenian parliament Hermine Naghdalyan and the delegation headed by the chairman of the Bulgarian association "National Front" Valeri Simeonov.
As Parliament's press service told ArmInfo, during the meeting Hermine Naghdalyan presented to the guests the situation around the Karabakh conflict settlement, stressing that the people of Artsakh want to live in a free and independent country. She also noted that Azerbaijan with its aggressive actions is trying to disrupt the negotiation process. In hsi turn, Valeri Simeonov said that is ready to assist the brotherly Armenian people on this issue as far as possible.
The issue of international recognition of the Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Turkey in the early 20th century was also discussed during the meeting.
