Armenian grandmaster is the fifth on FIDE rating 

ArmInfo. Armenian Grand Master Levon Aronyan is on the fifth position with 2795.6 points on the new rating of FIDE.  

As compared to the previous rating, Levon Aronyan has risen by 1  position. Magnus Carlsen (Norway) tops the rating with 2857. 2  points. The following chess players rank next:  Maxime  Vachier-Lagrave (France) with 2813.3, Fabiano Caruana (U.S.) with  2808, and Vladimir Kramnik (Russia) with 2808. 5 (5).

To note, the leader of the Armenian national team Levon Aronyan and  the other members of the national team take no part in the World  Chess Olympiad, which will be held in Baku.
